need a car

I keep my faith and trust in God. I am just so isolated and honestly can say I get frustrated. I had rather give than to receive. But I really need a car. I have health issues as I am sure others on here do to. I have to call and try to get someone(family) to get me to my drs appts. Or to pick up my meds. I have no friends, except at church. I live far out in the country and have no ride. At this little church, there is no-one well off(rich) but they are God's people and help as much as they can. They are RICH in that they have Jesus. No money can buy that. It does no good to ask my family to get me to the drs etc. They either have no gas or something else to do. Many drs appts cancelled. I fell so helpless all alone here. I need meetings for depression and to hear the word of God. To be part of The little church. I used to pick the guitar and sing for the Lord in church and to hear others. Their testimony and the blessed Rev. of the church. I pray at home and still sing. But I yearn to be in the house of the Lord. I know, there is some good I can still do for others, as I have in the past. I cry not for me, but for our countries' economic condition. Needy and sick people and children. I have a10 yr old grand-daughter, whom I love with all my heart. My son and her mother are divorced, and neither of the 2 have grown-up yet! My grandaughter is a A+ student and seems to be more grown up than either of them. I would like to be able to take her somewhere special, occasionally. Or even pick her up at school sometimes. She is a big part of my life, and sometimes reminds me to always put God first. She always says her prayers. God Bless little children, they are so precious. I even feel selfish for asking for help. God Bless All

need a car

If it is possible, please can someone help me find a car. Last dec on Christmas day, my car blew up. I get 110.00 in ssi and 584 in social security. Also, in dec. social sec. took my social security check(big surprise) for me, I am on a fixed income. I am not lazy and have worked most of my life. I struggled and raised my 2 sons by myself, after I divorced my abusive husband. He was very cruel to all of us. But I was young while raising them, and had more wilpower. It was by the grace of God that we survived. Since last dec. my home went into foreclosure, phone was disconnected. I have health problems, but do not have anyway to make my appointments. The little church I went to, help me some on the foreclosure. The house is in severe need of repairs. Everything that I had worked for, and hoped for...for my family, fell apart; like dominoe's. I have no-one to talk to or understand me. I know that I have some good things that I can do and have done for others and myself. I want to go to church, where I can sing and praise the Lord. I have friends there. Meetings of some sort, would be good for me too. I'm getting more depressed and seldom go outside. But keeping my hope and faith that God will help me, if it be thy will. He has done it for me before, or I wouldn't be alive today. I'm reaching out and leaving my foolish pride behind, for help. Like the christian song I love so much " When God Reached Down His Hand For Me." God Bless

About Blessed231

I have a beautiful daughter named alexandra. She was born this past february. I had planned no giving her up for adoption because I did not feel I could give her everything. But the night when she was born I knew I couldn't. She was so beautiful and small and she looked just like me. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I wanted her more then anything I have ever wanted. Because I had planned on an adoption I did not have a baby shower or anything a baby needs so that very week I asked dedicated. I got health insurance for both alexandra and i. I received wha and I have never been so proud me myself. Still it seems that even though I am on my own and being a single mother when it comes to clothing and so much more. But it is a great blessing to be a mom I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

FREE or LOW COST AUTOMOBILES

I knew if I looked long and hard, I would find more information. I was trying to find something resl cute to say like " I'm not a want want I'm a Do Do and that just didn't sound right for several reason's, so if you will pardon me I'll take my foot out of my mouth and get on with it.

There have been numerous request for FREE Cars well I had found a few locations but they were usually where it didn't do the person much good. I have found a much larger list and I'm hoping that more people will get use from it.

There are numerous organizations that make vehicles available at No cost or LOW cost to struggling families. The problem is that they don't tell very many people. They are usually refurbished vehicles to insure safety and reliability. You really didn't think they would hand out brand spanken new cars, did you? Come on.

Besides the organization states have developed programs to help improve mobility and self-suffientcy for people who are in transition from welfare to work, to keep a job, to help get a person back and forth to the doctors office.

These people can tell you what the quailifications are and if you quailiify and all I can tell you is good luck, that I hope this has been a service to and for you.

I will have to stop I have a doctors appointment to which I have to attend but here are a few before I go:

May God Bless

I have also discovered that soulight has an impressive list on her site. Have a look.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:19-25

There was a recent newspaper story about a woman in Tel Aviv who decided to do something nice for her elderly mother.  She bought her a new mattress.  The woman's bed was hard and lumpy; so as a surprise this woman had her mother's old mattress carted off to the junk yard, and she replaced it with a brand new one.  As it turns out, the older woman had hidden her life's savings in that mattress.  It was stuffed with over one million dollars.  They haven't found it yet, and an Israeli newspaper ran a picture of a woman desperately combing through a junkyard in southern Israel without success.

Sometimes new, younger, succeeding generations of people can toss away something that's very valuable without realizing its worth.  Take church attendance, for example.  Sometimes we avoid or discard the very thing we need the most. During challenging times, it's vital for us to stay connected to a healthy church where we can be encouraged, nurtured, and helped.  Let's not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.

Our Church Needs Help? What can I do...

    Hi  All,

Ok here's the deal : ) I'm a teen and my Dad and mom are pastors of our church. My dad also has a construction business that was doing very well a couple of years ago, but now with the economy doesn't have as much business as it used to, and his customers don't want to pay reasonably for their repairs (even though his prices are the cheapest in the city). With the problems other people in the church are having financially, the offerings are down, and my dad has to scramble to meet the church payment, light bills etc. as well as our house rent. My parents are always worn out and worried that the bills will get paid. Somehow the payments are always made, but that doesn't mean the pressure on my parents is gone. I want them to be happy and stress free, and my dad able to pass his business on to one of the men who work for him, and just pastor our church. : )

P.S. We are UPCI

Angel Food Ministries

One thing going through these hard times has taught me is that help is out there in more ways than I imagined. Maybe not all the help I needed at the time, but the help is there.  Angel Food Ministries is a great thing.  It allows people to buy good food at reduced cost of what it would cost at the stores they go to.  A person, or family, buys units of food then picks them up on appointed days.  This group can seriously reduce food costs for a family by half if not more.

Homeless over 50 up 26% plus! If interested, please click on the link below! It will even get worse!

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-elderly-homeless_26jun26,0,5323699.story

The worst thing that can happen to you is that you feel there will be comfort in turning to alcohol or drugs - It never fails; problems only worsen when this happens.

I am in a bad situation, but I will not allow myself to be given over to drug/alcohol use. You shouldn't either. My church has recently given me some financial aid, as well as food bank items to help sustain us until I can find another job. My family has also helped.

If you are trying to do that which is right, and are in God's will, He will take care of you. He will also provide ways to make things in your life right again. He wants you to ask Him for these things. That is what He is there for. Just try it and see for yourself... Pray without ceasing, if necessary... Get others to pray with you no matter WHERE you are!

I recently worked in a place where I was in a position to help others. I told many of them that we were all one step away from where they were; asking for help - Within a matter of a few months, I was there. I am there now.

If you are a veteran, contact the nearest Veterans Administration; they well assist you with many needed meds, etc.

Visit your local Department of Labor. They have tried to help me quite a bit. If you find a job you like, they actually have a OJT program that will pay the employer 50% of your wages for up to around 19 weeks. This is a good incentive for the employer to hire you. It may not be available in all states, but it just might be in yours. Go and visit them tomorrow!

Just don't give up - Make the turn in the right direction. Find Jesus and a church in which His spirit is obvious; make certain it is not a cult. If you booze, you're gonna lose...  ;  ) ~NWM

(HAGGAI 1 : 4 - 9)

1; 4: Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
1; 5: Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
1; 6: Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
1; 7: Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
1; 9: Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

1; 8: Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
